The Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) has launched the Azerbaijan Championships among juniors in the U-14, U-16 and U-18 age categories.
Idman.Biz reports that girls' and boys' teams from various cities and regions participate in the competitions.
The games are held not only in Baku, but also in Ganja, Nakhchivan, Oguz, Tovuz, Sumgayit and other regions. A total of 170 teams – 110 girls' and 60 boys' teams – will compete in the current season.
According to the regulations, the competitions will begin with the group stage and continue with the play-off rounds. On the first day, 15 games in three age categories were held in Baku, and 30 matches were held in the regions.
