The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) held an awareness seminar on anti-doping for members of Azerbaijan's national youth volleyball team.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the institution that athletes were given detailed information on anti-doping rule violations, the doping control process, the rights and obligations of athletes in this process, exceptions for therapeutic use, the consequences of using prohibited substances, penalties for their use, the prohibited list, location information and important topics such as the ADAMS system.
Questions of interest to the participants were answered at the seminar, which was held interactively.
The seminar aimed to contribute to the healthy physical and mental development of young athletes, as well as to strengthen the principles of fairness in sports. The importance of adhering to anti-doping rules was emphasized to the athletes, and the necessary knowledge and skills to make the right decisions were brought to their attention.
