The course organized by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) for coach-teachers in Ganja has ended. Sport24.az reports that 19 coach-teachers from surrounding districts and cities, as well as local trainers, participated in the AVF's 1st degree coaching course held at Ganja OIC and lasting five days.
The lessons were conducted by Cengiz Akarçesme, head of training and lower age groups of the AVF.
On the last day of the course, participants took theoretical and practical exams. 8 specialists who successfully passed both exams were awarded the AVF's 1st degree certificate.
It should be noted that last year the federation held 1st degree coaching courses in Gabala, Sumgayit and Baku. The AVF will organize second and third degree courses in Baku and other regions, along with the first degree courses. Coach-teachers who have received the 1st degree certificate will be able to coach in local championships. Specialists who will receive all three degrees will gain the right to participate in the FIVB's Level-1 seminar.
