The European Women's Volleyball Championship qualifying round matches have been held. According to Sport24.az, the leaders in 5 of the 7 groups have been determined based on the results of the third round.
Germany, Belgium, Slovenia, Spain, and Greece, who have officially secured group leadership ahead of schedule, have secured a place in the final stage of the European Championship. Romania and Montenegro's participation in the EC-2026, which will be hosted by Azerbaijan, Turkey, Czech Republic, and Sweden, has also been confirmed. However, whether they will be group winners or runners-up will depend on the matches of the final round.
The last round of matches will take place on August 10.
It should be noted that in addition to the group winners, five of the seven teams that will take second place will qualify for the European Championship.
