The Olympic Sports Complex, put into operation in Yevlakh, has a capacity of 1,100 spectators.
Idman.biz reports that this was announced at a media tour organized at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex.
It was noted that the area of the complex, the construction of which started in 2024, is 5.8 hectares. There are outdoor sports grounds, a stadium, a universal sports hall for 1,100 spectators, wrestling, judo, rhythmic gymnastics, boxing, kickboxing, taekwondo, karate, fitness and exercise halls, and a swimming pool. In addition, the complex will have a meeting hall, cafe, rooms for judges, coaches, doctors, commentators, a restaurant, and a 42-bed hotel building.
The Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex, one of the hosts of the III CIS Games, is fully ready for holding other prestigious sports events.
It should be noted that during the III Games of the Commonwealth of Independent States, hosted by Azerbaijan, boxing competitions will be organized at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex.
It is worth remembering that President Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex on September 27.
