Athletics competitions have started at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Idman.Biz reports that Yekaterina Sariyeva was the first member of our national team to join the competition.
Our athlete, competing in the triple jump, made a successful performance. Sariyeva's best result was 13.84 meters. With this result, Yekaterina won a bronze medal in the prestigious competition.
It should be noted that this is the 4th medal of our athlete at the Islamic Solidarity Games. Sariyeva won gold in Palembang in 2013, silver in Konya in 2021, and bronze in Baku in 2017.
