Today, Azerbaijani representative Anastasia Papatoma will join the competition at the XXV Winter Olympics, held in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
"Report" informs that the alpine skier will test her strength in the slalom discipline.
The competitions will be held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, a famous ski resort in Italy.
Competitions in several other sports will also take place today.
Norway is in first place in the medal standings. The Scandinavian country has so far won 31 medals (14 gold, 8 silver, 9 bronze). Italy (9 gold, 4 silver, 11 bronze) is second, and the USA (6 gold, 10 silver, 5 bronze) is third.
It should be reminded that earlier, Azerbaijani figure skater Vladimir Litvintsev took the last place with 63.63 points in the short program among 29 athletes and stopped competing.
The XXV Winter Olympics will end on February 22.
