Norway is in first place in the medal standings of the XXV Winter Olympic Games, organized in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
According to "Report", the country has so far won 20 (10 gold, 3 silver, 7 bronze) awards at the Olympics.
Italy (6 gold, 3 silver, 9 bronze) is second, and the USA (5 gold, 8 silver, 4 bronze) is third.
Competitions in several sports will also take place today. Azerbaijani skier Anastasia Papatoma will compete in the slalom event on February 18. The competitions will be held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, a famous ski resort in Italy.
Earlier, Azerbaijani figure skater Vladimir Litvintsev took the last place in the short program with 63.63 points in the competition of 29 athletes and stopped competing.
It should be noted that the XXV Winter Olympic Games will end on February 22.
