Idman.Biz reports with reference to "The Guardian" that the New Zealand freestyle skier fell from a height of several meters while performing in the qualifying stage. As a result of the impact, the 19-year-old athlete lost consciousness.

The competition was immediately stopped, and the medical team provided first aid to Ayvz right in the middle of the track.

According to the New Zealand Olympic Committee, the athlete's condition is stable and he is currently under medical supervision.

His upside-down photo taken in the air before the fall has caused great interest in social media.
