The National Triathlon Championship was held in Nerekend Park in Pirallahi settlement, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation.
IdmanşBiz reports that this prestigious competition, attended by more than 100 athletes from different age groups, has become a real sports holiday for both professional and young triathletes.
Participants demonstrated their skills by swimming in the waters of the Caspian Sea, against the backdrop of the unique nature of Pirallahi.
In the competition, children tested their strength in the super sprint distance - 375 meters swimming, 8 km cycling and 2 km running.
Adults competed in the sprint distance - 750 meters swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running.

Men:
1st place – Rzazade Ali
2nd place – Musayev Tamerlan
3rd place – Atakishiyev Tural
Women:
1st place – Abdulezizova Leyla
2nd place – Klara Mareschova
The awards were presented by Aslan Salahzade, Sector Manager of the Sports Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Seymur Huseynov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation, Sanubar Imanova, Press Secretary, Oleksandr Mordasov, Head Coach of the National Triathlon Team, Balaheydar Karimov, Chief Judge of the competition, and Nurali Mammadov, Director of "Trikids Baku" triathlon club.
The winners were awarded a cash prize by the main sponsor of the competition, ALUFAR.
