Azerbaijani athletes competed in four events on the sixth day of the swimming competitions held in Berlin as part of the World Summer Universiade organized in Germany.
Idman.biz's correspondent, who was sent to Germany, reports that Fatima Alkaramova finished 44th among 54 participants in the 50-meter freestyle swimming competition with a result of 28.14 seconds.
Abdurrahman Rustamov took 50th place among 74 athletes in the 50-meter freestyle swimming competition with a result of 23.94 seconds.
Nihad Yusibov finished 67th out of 74 participants in the 50-meter freestyle swimming competition with a time of 26.48 seconds.
In the 4x200 freestyle relay at the Universiade, our team finished 13th among 16 countries with a result of 7.49.41 minutes. Ramil Valizade (1.55.67), Rashad Alguliyev (1.59.19), Said Hamidov (1.57.79) and Abdurrahman Rustamov (1.56.76) competed in the team.
It should be noted that the swimming competitions of the World Summer Universiade will end on July 23.
