Universiade: First Performances of Azerbaijani Rowers in Duisburg

Rowing competitions have started at the Universiade, which is being held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany.

An Idman.biz correspondent dispatched to Germany reports that the competitions are being held in the city of Duisburg.

The Murad Sadigov – Lev Dobryantsev duet showed the fourth result in the qualifying stage in academic rowing.

Nurlan Pashayev, who performed in a single boat, finished fifth in the qualifying stage.
