Four Azerbaijani swimmers competed on the second day of the Universiade hosted by Germany.
Idman.biz correspondent dispatched to the competition reports that Fatima Alkaramova, Nihad Yusibov, Rashad Alguliyev and Said Hamidov performed today at the swimming competitions held in Berlin.
Alkaramova finished 17th among 23 athletes in the 400m individual medley with a time of 5:6.98 seconds. At the Universiade, Alguliyev (58.79) was 33rd and Yusibov (1:02.55) was 37th in the 100m backstroke. Hamidov covered the distance in 2:07.91 minutes in the 200m individual medley. With this result, the athlete updated his personal record (2:08.22).
It should be noted that the Universiade will end on July 27.
