The International University Sports Federation (FISU) will hold a special press conference in Essen, Germany, regarding the capital of the 2027 Summer Universiade.
Idman.biz's correspondent, who has been sent to Germany, reports that detailed information about the student games to be held in Chungcheong Province, South Korea, will be provided at the event to be held on July 25 at the "Messe Essen" exhibition complex.
The Multiforum will be held from August 1-12, 2027.
The organizers have already announced the Universiade program. The games will feature 18 sports: artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, archery, rowing, judo, athletics, badminton, basketball, diving, fencing, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, water polo, beach volleyball, and golf.
