"This time my performance was better compared to last year". Sport24.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani rower Alimurad Hajizade in his statement to journalists at the "President's Cup-2025" international regatta.
The athlete, who won a gold medal in the kayak event at a distance of 1000 meters, said he was happy with the victory:
"It was a very tense and competitive regatta. We continued our fight calmly. I showed all my skills. I had already faced my rivals several times. This time my performance was better compared to last year".
