It is gratifying to hear the Azerbaijani anthem in our native land.
This was stated by Teymur Guliyev, coach of the Azerbaijani national swimming team, in his statement to the Western Bureau of "Report".
He commented on the performance of Ogtay Huseynov, who won a gold medal in the 400m individual medley:
"I thank everyone who supported us. I express my gratitude to everyone who encouraged our swimmers to victory, especially the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov. We prepared very seriously for the competition. We have never won a gold medal in the swimming competitions of the CIS Games. It is gratifying that our anthem was played in our native land."
