"Televizja Polska", one of Poland's largest and oldest television channels, has issued a statement regarding the broadcasting of the 2026 Paralympic Games.
Idman.Biz reports that the television channel has criticized the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in the upcoming competitions against the backdrop of the conflict in Ukraine.
The company stated that the television channels within the group that broadcast the competitions will stop broadcasting as soon as Russian or Belarusian athletes appear on screen.
At this time, Polish viewers will see the inscription "Solidarity with Ukraine" on the screen.
According to reports, the broadcast will be interrupted both when representatives of these countries appear at the opening ceremony and when they appear in the frame during competitions.
