An award ceremony for sports volunteers was held at the administrative building of the National Olympic Committee (NOC).
According to the information provided to "Report" from the NOC's press service, the ceremony was attended by the committee's vice-president Farid Mansurov, head of the sports department Hasanaga Rzayev, head of the international programs department Anar Bagirov, volunteers, students and athletes.
Speaking at the event, NOC Vice President Farid Mansurov stated that Azerbaijan successfully hosts international sports events and paid special attention to the role of volunteers in these competitions. He emphasized the need for volunteer support in every large-scale sports event, noting the importance of further strengthening the volunteer policy in the country.
Hasanaga Rzayev, head of the sports department of the National Olympic Committee, noted that the volunteer program project is promising for the future, and thanked them for their activities and support.
Anar Bagirov, head of the international programs department of the NOC, considered the role of volunteers in large projects in every country of the world irreplaceable and wished them success in their future activities.
The volunteers who spoke later talked about their experiences and thanked the organizers of the event.
In the end, all volunteers were presented with certificates and gifts, and a memorable photo was taken.
