A sports festival dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held within the framework of the "Olympic Culture and Education Program" (OCEP) organized by secondary school No. 7 named after Mammad Rahim of Sabail district.
According to İdman.biz, citing the National Olympic Committee, the festival began with a tour of the stands prepared by the school.
After the National Anthem was played, official guests watched the program of the event.
Narmine Huseynova, a representative of the Baku City Education Department, spoke about the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev's care for sports. She stated that during the leadership of the National Leader, important steps were taken to develop sports in Azerbaijan, and the healthy growth of young people was always in the spotlight. It was emphasized that this policy of our state in the field of sports continues successfully today thanks to the attention and care of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
After various compositions were performed to the sounds of Azerbaijani national dances and music, the Olympic torch was brought to the square.
The school students' competition and the special performance of the gymnasts added color to the event. The musical performance of the school student Musa Murad was also greeted with interest by the event participants.
