Baku 2015 was a historic moment for the European Olympic Movement.
According to "Report", this was stated
by Spiros Kapralos, President of the European Olympic Committees (EOC), who joined the presentation ceremony of the "Baku-2015 - Artificial Intelligence and Innovation in Sports" competition online.
"The first European Games - a bold and ambitious project - became a reality thanks to the unparalleled efforts of President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and the Azerbaijani people. I still vividly remember the energy, pride, and passion that permeated every arena, street, and celebration. More than 5,000 athletes from all over Europe came together not only to compete but also to forge lifelong friendships and memories. It was a turning point that showed the world what European unity and vision are capable of," the EOC official emphasized.
