A Safe Sport Commission has been established at the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee to strengthen the principles of safe sport and ensure independent oversight.
According to "Report", the Secretary General of the NOC, Azer Aliyev, has been appointed as the chairman of the commission.
The commission includes Tahmina Tagizadeh, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency, Elgun Safarov, Head of Department of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs, Khazar Isayev, Chairman of the Fair Play Commission, and Farida Azizova, Chairman of the Athletes Commission.
It was reported that the commission will contribute to the protection of ethical values in the sports environment, ensuring the welfare of athletes and the development of a safe sports environment.
