Azerbaijani para-taekwondo athlete Sabir Zeynalov (58 kg) won a silver medal at the Open Challenge Tournament held in Chuncheon, South Korea.
According to "Report", the athlete, who started the competition from the 1/8 finals, successively defeated his opponents from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Thailand, and qualified for the final.
In the final, S. Zeynalov lost to his opponent representing Chinese Taipei and settled for a silver medal.
It should be noted that the tournament awards ranking points for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Paralympic Games.
