Azerbaijani shooter Ruslan Lunyov could have achieved a better result at the European Cup.
The athlete himself told "Report" this.
He emphasized that he was happy to take second place:
"My results are normal. But I could have shot better. It turned out this way this time. I won two silver medals. My expectations were good before the competition. I usually win two medals at the European Cups. There is such a competition in Tallinn every year. This time the number of my medals was 2. I shot poorly in the first part of the tournament. When I started the second part, I knew it would be difficult for me. But my result was good and I was happy to be in second place. I thought I would take 3rd or 4th places."
R. Lunyov also spoke about his future plans:
"I am preparing for the European Championship to be held in France. There will be competitions in the same categories there. My goal is to win medals. Last year I won one silver and bronze medal at the European Championship. I believe I will achieve a better result this year."
It should be noted that R. Lunyov won a silver medal in the 25-meter rapid fire and the same distance center fire at the European Cup.
