The US women's hockey team has refused to meet with President Donald Trump.
Idman.Biz reports that the president invited both the men's and women's teams who won gold medals at the 2026 Olympic Games to his traditional address to Congress.
"We are truly grateful for the invitation extended to our victorious U.S. Women's Hockey Team, and we highly value the recognition of their remarkable achievements. Due to previously scheduled academic and professional commitments following the Olympic Games, the athletes are currently unable to attend. They were honored by this recognition and expressed their gratitude," a US Hockey Federation spokesman said, according to NBC Sports.
