The "President's Cup-2025" international tournament in academic rowing, kayaking and canoeing will start today.
According to the employee of "Report", who was sent to the competition, more than 200 athletes from 20 countries will compete in the regatta.
The tournament will start in Sugovushan, a beautiful corner of Karabakh. The opening ceremony of the international regatta will be held here first, followed by races over a distance of 200 meters.
Along with Azerbaijani representatives, rowers from Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan have joined the "President's Cup-2025" tournament.
It should be noted that the regatta will continue on May 1-2 at the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir. Here, teams will compete in various distances in kayaking, canoeing and academic rowing.
