Azerbaijani rowers won 3 medals on the first day of the international tournament "President's Cup-2025". According to Sport24.az, the winners in kayaking at a distance of 200 meters were determined today in Sugovushan.
Among the Azerbaijani representatives, Amil Ramazanov won a bronze medal in the competition of athletes born in 2007-2008. Alimurad Hajizade among athletes born in 2009-2010, and Mustafa Valizade among those born in 2011-2012 won medals of the same value.
It should be noted that along with Azerbaijani representatives, rowers from Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan participated in the "President's Cup-2025" tournament.
The regatta will continue on May 1-2 at the Mingachevir "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center. Here, teams will compete in various distances in kayaking, canoeing and academic rowing.
