The World Championship among youth and under 23 kayak and canoe athletes will be held in Montemor-o-Velho, Portugal, on July 23-27.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijan will be represented by 3 athletes in total, including 1 woman and 2 men.
Tatyana Smilovenko, who came third in the European Championship held in the same age category on July 3-6 in canoe competitions, will again compete for a medal. In kayaking, Amil Ramazanov and Alimurad Hajizade will try to win a prize at the World Championship.
