Members of our youth national taekwondo team have departed for Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, to participate in the XVIII European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF).
İdman.biz reports that 8 taekwondo athletes, under the leadership of Rashad Mammadov, the head coach of the youth team, and coach Farida Azizova, will represent our country at the festival.
The team includes Mehdi Budagli (48 kg), Aydin Suleymanov (55 kg), Ziya Hasanli (63 kg), Yunis Huseynov (73 kg), Eljan Aliyev (+73 kg), Khuraman Javadzadeh (44 kg), Humay Dadashova (49 kg) and Sehri Jalalova (55 kg).
It should be noted that taekwondo is included in the program of the European Youth Olympic Festival for the first time.
