New Zealand Olympic medalist, triathlete Hayden Wilde, has been seriously injured while cycling in Tokyo.
"Report" reports that the athlete announced this through his social media accounts.
He said that he had a cycling accident, as a result of which he broke four ribs, fractured his shoulder and had problems with his lungs.
The athlete took seventh place in the 10 km race at the "Asics Tokyo Speed Race" on May 3.
Note that the 27-year-old triathlete is a silver and bronze medalist of the Summer Olympic Games. He also has one silver and two bronze medals at the world championship.
