Canadian Alysha Newman, bronze medalist in pole vaulting at the 2024 Olympics, said that she enjoys combining sports and the modeling business in her career.

"When I was little, I was told that I had to choose: either be an athlete or a model. I never understood why I couldn't choose both. For a long time, I believed them and chose athletics. I gave my whole heart and soul to it," Newman said.
The Olympic medalist says she is currently experiencing a turning point in her life: "I grew up dreaming of being photographed in Maxim. Being a part of the magazine now is a surreal and at the same time a wonderful feeling. To be honest, I am very happy with my life."
