The body of former biathlete, two-time Olympic champion Laura Dahlmeier, has been found.
İdman.biz reports that the German athlete was caught in an avalanche in Pakistan on July 28.
The incident occurred in the Gilgit-Baltistan region at an altitude of 5700 meters. Dahlmeier, who was engaged in mountaineering, and her colleague had been missing for two days. The German press reported that the body of the 31-year-old biathlete had been found.
It should be noted that Laura ended her career in 2019. She won two gold medals at the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics. Dahlmeier is also a 7-time world champion.
