The leadership of the Azerbaijan National Paralympic Committee (NPC) met with Oleg Panyutin, the head coach of the para-athletics team.
"Report" informs that during the meeting, the current situation in para-athletics, competitions planned until the end of the year, training camps, as well as long-term plans for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Paralympic Games were discussed.
The continuation of work to form a new generation of Paralympians in this sport, as well as issues of adaptation to the updated medical classification rules, were also on the agenda.
The NPC stated that the support provided to para-athletes to successfully represent our country in the international arena will continue. It was emphasized that such meetings will be held regularly every month.
It should be noted that previously, the NPC leadership held individual meetings with the head coaches of para-taekwondo, para-judo, para-badminton, para-powerlifting, para-shooting, para-archery, para-swimming, and boccia.
