Norwegian skier and Olympic champion Odd Martinsen has died at the age of 82.
"Report" reports, citing NRK television channel, that he became a sports functionary after finishing his professional career.
From 1986 to 2002, he headed the cross-country skiing committee of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). He later became an honorary member of the organization.
It should be noted that O.Martinsen won 1 gold and silver medal at the 1968 Winter Olympics in France. He also won one gold, one silver and three bronze medals at the world championships.
