The National Olympic Committee (NOC) has not received a specific response from the Organizing Committee of the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games regarding the medals of Azerbaijani athletes that have lost their quality and been returned.
"Report" informs that this was stated by Chingiz Huseynov, Vice-President of the NOC, in his statement to journalists after the meeting of the Executive Committee of the organization held today.
He stated that they have done the necessary work regarding the replacement of medals awarded in Paris-2024:
"We have done the necessary work regarding the process. We have submitted all the information to the International Olympic Committee. The International Olympic Committee has forwarded this issue to the Organizing Committee of Paris-2024. The Organizing Committee is almost no longer functioning. Some of its structures remain. Now these structures are dealing with the issue. We have not yet received a specific answer. But they have promised to resolve this issue."
