Idman.biz reports that this was stated by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov.

He answered journalists' questions after the opening ceremony of the "President Cup-2025" regatta in Sugovushan, dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The Minister said that today he will go to Ganja and Goychay and will be interested in the repair work there: "As you know, the CIS Games will be held in seven different regions. A stadium is being built in Ganja, and a large sports complex is being built in Yevlakh. Almost all our regions have Olympic complexes. The complexes in the regions will be renovated for the CIS Games. Because some of them have been built for more than 20 years. Today I will go to both Ganja and Goychay. We will be interested in the repair work there."

Gayibov also spoke about the work done to develop children's football in the country: "We are trying to support children's football. The "Ulduz" football club is under the balance of the Ministry. We hold various international competitions throughout the year. The next tournament will be held at the end of the summer. We are trying to organize competitions in the regions as well. This time the tournament will be held in Guba."

It should be noted that the opening and closing ceremony of the CIS Games will be held at the Ganja City Stadium. In total, competitions will be held in 12 sports facilities in 23 sports. About 5550 participants are expected in the Games. In addition to the CIS countries, other countries are planned to be invited to the event. Media accreditation will begin in May.
