Michael Paul Luzmoor, Professor at University College London (UCL), Vice-President of the Sports Medicine Section of the Royal Society of Medicine, author of the European standard for sports medicine, and medical expert of the International Olympic Committee, conducted a scientific and practical training on "Shoulder Injuries in Sports Medicine. Diagnosis, Treatment, and Rehabilitation."
The Azerbaijan Sports Academy press service informed "Report" about this.
The purpose of the training was to investigate the causes of shoulder injuries and dysfunctions encountered in athletes, to conduct their correct diagnosis, and to learn ways to effectively organize the rehabilitation process.
The scientific and practical training was attended by doctors from the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, Azerbaijan Medical University, the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency, various medical institutions, and employees of the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.
