The leadership of the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) met with the Paralympians who competed in the European Championships.
"Report" informs that the opinions of our Paralympians, who won a total of 2 gold and 5 silver medals in the European Championships in Para Judo, Para Shooting and Para Badminton, and their coaches were heard at the event, and the work to be done to ensure the continued success of the national teams was discussed.
The meeting was attended by Shahin Kazimzade, advisor to the President of the National Paralympic Committee, Vice President Ilham Zakiyev, Secretary General Togrul Rahimov and other NPC officials.
It should be noted that in the European Championships, our Para Judo athletes Ilham Zakiyev (J1, +95 kg) won a gold medal, and Dursadaf Karimova (J2, +70 kg) won a silver medal. Our Para Shooting athletes Kamran Zeynalov (10 meters, P1) won gold, (50 meters, P4) silver, and together with Aybaniz Babayeva (10 meters, P6) won another silver medal.
Our Para Badminton athletes Ibrahim Aliyev (SU-5, doubles) and Zahra Salmanli (SH-6, doubles) won silver medals.
