"Milan" head coach Massimiliano Allegri has been included in the list of participants in the 2026 Olympic torch relay.
Idman.Biz reports that the Italian club announced this on social media.
"Massimiliano Allegri will have the honor of carrying the Olympic torch ahead of the 2026 Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo Games. Congratulations!" the "rossoneri" statement said.
Allegri also coached "Milan" from 2010 to 2014. His career includes "Juventus", "Cagliari", "Sassuolo" and several other clubs. He has won six Serie A titles, three Italian Super Cups and five Italian Cups.
The 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be held from February 6-22.
