London is considering the option of hosting the 2040 Summer Olympic Games.
İdman.biz reports that the Mayor of the British capital, Sadiq Khan, said in a statement.
The Mayor stated that he supports London hosting the Olympics for the 4th time: "I am a sports enthusiast. We need to evaluate the economic aspects of sports and prepare a report. I have always dreamed of making London the sports capital of the world. Boxing, NFL, baseball - we are discussing holding games with the NBA in London. I consider this an important factor. I hope London will be the first city to host the Summer Olympic Games for the 4th time."
It should be noted that the British capital hosted the Olympics in 1908, 1948 and 2012.
