The "IronWind" international triathlon competition was held in Nərəkənd Park in Pirallahi, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku City Circuit, the Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation, and the "Triterra" Triathlon Club.
İdman.biz reports that a total of 108 athletes from 15 countries participated in the competition.
They covered a distance of 1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling, and 21 km running.
Aleksandr Mordasov (Ukraine), Togrul Mammadli (Azerbaijan), and Roman Glavatsky (Ukraine) won among men. Among women, Alyona Puchkina (Kyrgyzstan), Nataliya Vallek, and Rabiyya Orucova (both from Azerbaijan) distinguished themselves.
