The National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan constantly brings together those working in the field of sports safety, athletes, coaches, officials and partners.
According to "Report", this was stated by Kirsti Burovs, Director of the Safe Sport Unit of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The IOC official, who joined the "III Safe Sport Forum" in Baku online, shared his thoughts:
"First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee. You demonstrate true leadership year after year. You bring together those working in the field of sports safety, athletes, coaches, officials and partners. The common goal that unites you all is this: everyone involved in sports should feel safe, valued and protected."
She said that the activities of the NOC have expanded even further since last year's forum:
"At this forum, you are once again demonstrating that it is possible to turn commitments into reality, to make safety and well-being a part of the sports culture. As the International Olympic Committee, we are also contributing to the development of this global initiative together with you."
