Azerbaijani figure skater Vladimir Litvintsev, who will participate in the XXV Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, is in good physical and psychological condition.
"Report" reports that Anar Bagirov, chef de mission of the Azerbaijani team, stated this in a statement to the press service of the National Olympic Committee.
Speaking about the preparation process before the competition, the NOC official said that the athlete is focused on fighting with all his might:
"Vladimir is currently training very hard and diligently. He goes on the ice twice a day, both in the morning and in the evening, improving his program. His physical and psychological condition is normal. All conditions have been created for our team in the Olympic Village in Italy, and we are looking forward to tomorrow's performance with excitement."
Figure skater Vladimir Litvintsev, who defends the sports honor of our country at the XXV Winter Olympic Games, will start his first competition tomorrow. His first performance will be in the short program at 18:30 Baku time.
V.Litvintsev will compete in the free program on February 13, and our athlete Anastasia Papatoma will test her strength in the alpine skiing competition in Cortina d'Ampezzo on February 18.
