Idman.Biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this at the ceremony dedicated to the sports results of 2025.
"We have very beautiful seaside recreation areas, ski areas. Strong infrastructure has been created. Roads, railways, 9 international airports, that is, connections between cities are also being modernized. Major infrastructure work is being carried out in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur. Competitions are already being held there as well - in the Kondalanchay reservoir, in the Sugovushan reservoir. Rowing competitions may also be held in the Sarsang reservoir in the future. That is, this kind of development of our country also has a positive impact on the sports sector," the head of state emphasized.
