Five Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters have qualified for the finals at the III CIS Games.
According to "Report", these are Umid Rahimzade (54 kg), Ziya Hasanli (63 kg), Eljan Aliyev (74 kg) among men, and Humay Dadashova (46 kg) and Maryam Mammadova (53 kg) among women.
At the competition held at the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir, six taekwondo fighters won bronze medals.
Tamerlan Yaqubov (54 kg), Allahverdi Mammadov and Zeynal Aliyev (both – 87 kg) among men, and Salima Guliyeva (46 kg), Nilufer Borci (53 kg) and Nargiz Kazimova (62 kg) among women finished the competition with a bronze award.
