German biathletes Janina Hettich-Walz and Vanessa Voigt, participating in the XXV Winter Olympic Games in Italy, suffered food poisoning.
"Report" reports, citing "Bild", that this was stated by Felix Bitterling, sports director of the German Ski Association.
The official of the organization said that the athletes felt unwell after eating, however, he said that the problem was not serious. It was reported that the German national team also brought a special chef responsible for the athletes' nutrition to Italy.
It should be noted that the Winter Olympic Games will end on February 22.
