Finnish freestyle skier Launen suffered a serious injury in the qualifying stage of the Winter Olympics.
İdman.Biz reports that the athlete was unable to land on his skis after performing a complex trick and crashed to the ground on his back and head.
Immediately after the incident, medical staff entered the field, and Launen was carried away on a stretcher. According to a statement from the Finnish Olympic Committee, he did not lose consciousness and is able to move all his limbs.
It was reported that the athlete will be sent to the hospital for a more detailed examination.
