The competition program of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games started on February 4.
According to İdman.Biz, the first round of group stage games was held in curling on Tuesday.
However, the games were suspended approximately five minutes after starting due to a power outage at the "Cortina d'Ampezzo" arena. After a short break, the games resumed.
Teams from Sweden and South Korea, Great Britain and Norway, Czech Republic and Canada, as well as Estonia and Switzerland, took to the ice for the mixed doubles competition.
As a reminder, the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games will begin on February 6 at 23:00 Baku time.
