The "Olympic Day" event has been held in Azerbaijan for more than 30 years.
"Report" reports that this was stated by the Vice-President of the NOC, Chingiz Huseynzade, in a statement to journalists.
"We traditionally hold the "Olympic Day" event. This event has been held in Azerbaijan for more than 30 years. We want to show the development of the Olympic movement in our country," he emphasized.
It should be noted that the "Olympic Day" event dedicated to the 131st anniversary of the founding of the International Olympic Committee is held in Antena Park, located in Narimanov district, with the organization of the National Olympic Committee, the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, the Baku City Executive Power, TABIB, the Baku City Main Police Department, and the Azerbaijan Belt Wrestling and Athletics Federations.
