Chinese snowboarder Liu Jiayu was taken to the hospital after a bad fall during the XXV Winter Olympics.
"Xinhua" agency reports that "Report" reported about it.
It was reported that the athlete fell during the second qualifying run in the halfpipe and hit the ramp with her head. She remained motionless for several minutes after the incident.
According to reports, initial medical examinations showed that the possibility of a serious injury in the cervical spine area was low.
It should be noted that Liu Jiayu is 33 years old. She is a silver medalist of the 2018 Winter Olympics. The Chinese athlete also won the world champion title in 2009.
