Azerbaijani Triathletes Debut at European Youth Cup

Members of the Azerbaijani national triathlon team participated in the European Youth Triathlon Cup for the first time.

Idman.biz reports that 34 boys and 20 girls competed in the traditional competition held in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.

Leyla Abdulazizova showed the highest result among Azerbaijani athletes, taking 17th place. Other young triathletes Ali Rzazade (22nd place), Tamerlan Musayev (26), Said Azimov (29), Teymur Jafarov (30) and Riad Abbaszadeh (33) also gained international competition experience.
